Polenta
5 cups of water
1 cup of stone ground corm meal (I used Bob's Red Barn)
boil the water. Slowly add the polenta and wisk the whole time. Turn down the heat and let simmer (bubble like lava) for 20-30 min.
2 Tablespoons butter
1/2-1 cup Parmesan
salt and pepper
Add the butter, cheese, salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
We had it with pasta sauce. I have also had it with Marsala mushrooms.
