Middle Eastern Deliciousness

Today was the regular breakfast and salad filled lunch...then came dinner. It was awesome. I took a recipe from the 365 crockpot blog and a recipe from the food network, and mixed the two. I make unbelievable gyro meat in the slow cooker!! This is what I did:
1/2 lbs ground lamb
1/2 lbs growing beef
4-5 cloves of garlic (garlic press)
1 lg onion
1T oregano
1T rosemary
1tsp thyme
2tsp salt
1tsp pepper

Chop the 1/2 the onion and put it in a lg food processor. Pulse. Then put in a tea towel to squeeze out the liquid. Then put it back in the processor. Add the meats and the spices. Pulse until it is like a paste. Form into a ball. Slice the other half an onion and put it in the slow cooker. Place the meat loaf on the onions. Squeeze the juice on a lemon over the meat. Cook on low for 3 hours. Oh my god!!! I'd give you the recipe for the tzatziki sauce, but mine wasn't very good. I'm going to keep looking until I find a better one. I need to find one fast because I'm making this again VERY soon. There is no photo because I ate it too fast. I couldn't wait.
