Swan Boats

We had Charlotte's third 1st birthday today. Off to Boston. We had a picnic in the Public Garden and took a trip (11min) on the swan boats. The day was perfect. It was everything I had hoped it would be for her birthday. Beautiful, low key, active, and fun. A cousin and some friends meet us there. Charlotte had a great time.

I, however, have fallen off the program with a thud. I have eaten 2.5 cupcakes so far today along with numerous tea sandwiches, chips, and fruit. The sandwiches were outstanding. And so festive. The cupcakes were cute and elegant and SUPER good.

Tomorrow I am going to start on a week of austerity. Back to lentils and the no-added-fat-Sister's-slow cooker.

Today, however, was totally worth it.

    What an Dreamy idealic day we had. So picture perfect and we all enjoyed ourselves so much. I loved the sandwiches! The cupcakes were too good to pass up. I am anxious to go again next year!
