Clark's Birthday

Well - today was nothing to write about.  Breakfast was an enormous bowl of oatmeal and coffee (2 cups with cream and sugar!?!).  Then I had an apple around noon.....because today was Clark's birthday.  We took him out for a hot dog.  So everyone had a hot dog.  I added sauerkraut to mine to pretend I was eating a vegetable as well.  Charlotte ate French fries with ketchup, then fed her hot dog to the dog.

For dinner we shared a huge serving of green beans (with butter and salt), and a serving of Paprika Pork made in My Sister's Slow Cooker with a yogurt sauce instead of sour cream.  It makes me feel as if it's a little better for you.  The slow cooker is nice because you don' t need any fat or oil to cook, so I take that as licence to add other fattening things to my food.  Give me an inch, and I'll take a mile.  I also had a large bowl of yogurt, honey and walnuts as well as a few cheese and soprasetta crackers.

However, I have lost 2 pounds, thank you very much.  28 to go.
