I got on the scale this morning and I have lost 5 lbs since Sunday the 25th. 5 lbs in 14 days. It always comes off fastest in the beginning and that is so exciting. I feel good, lots of energy, and I am not hungry all the time. When I eat flour and sugar, I am ALWAYS hungry and have no feeling of fullness, so I can eat forever. Without the flour or sugar, I get full, I can stop when I am full, and I don't need to eat between meals. Hmmm...this must be what life is like for normal people.....
Oatmeal with honey, cinnamon, raisins and peanut butter or breakfast. Large salad for lunch. Not a HUGE salad, and that was a mistake. When I got home from work I was so hungry, we had to have dinner immediately. We were done by 6 pm. (In the long run, that was fine because I was asleep by 8.) Dinner was roast chicken, creamed spinach (probably had at least a little flour in it), cauliflower casserole, and cucumbers. Right before bedtime, Charlotte announced that she was hungry for food, so we had some peanut butter and apples and feta cheese. Odd combination, but it is all I had in the fridge.
I have been doing really well with GOMBBS. I have greens and seeds/nuts daily. Onions, Blueberries, and mushrooms at least 2-3 times a week. I have to work on the beans..... maybe in my salad.....
