Bread Sticks.  Warning, there is both flour AND sugar in these.  It tastes SOOOO good.

That being said, these are easy and fast.  Easy Peasy.  Now I find yeast breads easy, since I have FIGURED OUT YEAST.  You have to let it sit in 100-120 degree water with a tablespoon of sugar for about 15 minutes.  Everyone else in the world seems to know this, but I always thought I was 'proofing' my yeast, then the bread came out Flat, Flat, Flat.  I needed more specific info.....Thank you melskitchencafe.com.  Good pictures too.  There is an entire tutorial on how to work with yeast.  How accommodating of her.....

This recipe is from her.  If you want bread, and you didn't plan for it, this is the way to go.

1 T yeast - PROOF IT
2 T sugar
1 1/2 cups warm water (100 - 110 degrees) (that's actually hot, in my book)
1/2 t salt
3 1/2 cups flour (approximate)
melted butter to grease the baking sheet

Put it all (except the butter) in the kitchen aid mixer.  Mix/knead for 3 min.  The dough should pull away from the sides.  Let  it sit for about 10 min.  Prepare the baking sheet, turn on the oven to 350.  Roll out the dough into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.  Slice it into strips, sprinkle with parm cheese and spices (garlic powder, basil, and oregano).  Let it rest for about 30 minutes  bake for 12-15 minutes.

Eat warm.  Don't eat them all.....
